Downtown Baltimore takes food seriously. We've had over 60 new restaurants open since 2017, and we've got delicious events and food festivals year round, including Baltimore Restaurant Week, August 2-11, 2019. Indigma Reopens on Catherdral

Restaurateurs Tony and Ann Chemmanoor call Mt. Vernon home, which makes the relocation of one our favorite South Indian restaurants to 900 Cathedral Street even more special. If you haven't been since the move, make sure to stop in soon.

It's more than modern soul food at Ida B's. Order from their separate extensive menus for lunch and dinner, or enjoy small plates during happy hour at the bar. Every Tuesday and Wednesday $5 deals are available for select wines and plates from 4-9pm.

Veganized comfort food has never tasted so good. Offering meals for vegans and non-vegans, this is a good place to try exciting flavors. Visit 429 N. Eutaw Street for the best vegan mac and cheese in Baltimore.


Stop by Maisy's

If you want to feel at home but not have to do dishes, Maisy's has you covered. The bartenders are the most lovely people in town, the food is reliably good, and if you can snag the couch space - it's perfect for a 4:30 happy hour and games. It's a Charles Center staple.


Baltimore Mac and Cheese Festival

On May 18 Baltimore Mac and Cheese Festival features top chefs, food trucks and food vendors serving up the world's most amazing (and cheesiest) dish- Mac and Cheese.


R&R Tequeria is open

The concept is fast casual AND sit-down, and conveniently located at Charles & Lombard Street. Take your tacos to go, or stay put in their impeccably well-designed dining room. Either way, the food is great and the staff is lovely.
