Part of being a good neighbor is taking care of our yard. We do more than that though- we manage public spaces and host year-round events in them to make living, working, and hanging out in Downtown more green. Whether it's kicking off the holiday season with The Monument Lighting in Mount Vernon or monthly outdoor happy hours in Charles Center, we plan something for everyone.

If you live or work Downtown, you’ve probably noticed a flurry of placemaking and events that are improving the experience for pedestrians. While we continue to produce big events Baltimore Restaurant Week, Pratt Street Farmers Market and Pints Fest, we also like to focus on small but impactful events like free yoga in Center Plaza and acoustic music in parks at lunch.

Rosé in the Garden

Sip Rosé and enjoy exceptional food and desserts from Point South Latin Kitchen, Sobo Cafe, The Elephant, and more. On June 23rd, Preston Gardens will transform into the ultimate Rosé garden party, complete with photo ops, flower crowns, dancing, and more.

Lunch at your desk is sad. Get up and out to the Pratt Street Market with tons of vendors featuring prepared lunch options as well as fresh produce, baked goods, more. The Market runs Thursdays, 11am-2pm, May- October.

Center Plaza hosts free outdoor yoga classes a couple of days a week, May through September.

Acoustic Music in Hopkins Plaza

International singer/songwriter Sahffi Lynne will perform acoustic music in Hopkins Plaza every other Monday, May 6 - June 17 from 11:30am-1:30pm. Enjoy your lunch outside with some tranquil background music.

Outdoor Fitness Classes
Downtown is your gym. Join our free outdoor fitness classes hosted most weeknights, May – October.

Lunch with DPOB
The next networking lunch in this series is May 9th.

Pints in the Park
An outdoor Happy Hour Series in Center Plaza with local beer, food, and live music on second Fridays, May - October.

Race to Preakness
Center Plaza hosts a week of fun activities, happy hours, and a very special Night Brunch leading up Preakness.

Barks & Booze
A pet-friendly happy hour (with free booze for humans) in Preston Gardens on the third Thursday of each month, May- September, 5-7pm.

Downtown 101
The essential Downtown Baltimore introduction. Have a drink, meet other young professionals, and get to know your city.

DPOB Night at The Yard
Purchase discounted tickets to the June 13th game vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Rosé in the Garden
Preston Gardens will transform into the ultimate Rose garden party with live music, tons of wine, lavish food displays, and fashionable guests. Ages 21+.

Baltimore Restaurant Week
Enjoy delicious dining during Baltimore Summer Restaurant Week, August 2-11, 2019.

LIT City Dance Party
The St. Paul Street light tunnel transforms into a major dance party on November 8th.

Dollar or Less Days
Admission to select Downtown attractions is a dollar or less during the first weekend of December.

Monument Lighting
The official kick off to the holiday season takes place Thursday, December 5, 5-8pm at Mount Vernon Place.

The Littlest Egg Hunt
Little kids of Downtown: Join us in Center Plaza on April 13th for an egg hunt, petting zoo & more.

Glow Egg Hunt
It’s an egg hunt (on April 18th). But with beer and no kids and cool prizes.
