Transportation
The
Maryland Transit Administration (MTA)
has introduced CharmCard, a “smart” credit card-sized,
electronic, reusable fare card that’s good for travel on
Baltimore’s Metro Subway, Local Bus and Light Rail systems,
as well as on bus and Metrorail services in Washington, DC,
Montgomery and Prince George’s counties and Northern
Virginia. CharmCard offers a convenient, easy and secure way
to pay your fare, check your card balance and add cash value
or a pass product. You can even register it to eliminate
concerns about a lost, damaged or stolen card. It’s
available wherever MTA passes are sold, and at select Giant
and CVS stores throughout the Baltimore area.
For more information about CharmCard, visit
www.mtacharmcard.com.
