Sports

Cal Ripken stole our hearts and made Orange one of our favorite colors, sure, but our sports legacy is so much more. Downtown Baltimore is home to a neighborhood devoted to stadiums. Have you walked through Ridgely’s Delight lately? Purple Fridays is a holiday in this town for a reason (Go Ravens!).

Residents like their sports too, taking up bocce ball and kick ball in public parks all around Downtown with the Baltimore Social Sports Club. And we even have our own Beach Volleyball Courts – how many Downtown’s can say that.

Enjoy free yoga in parks and plazas most of the year – Fed Hill has classes, Downtown Partneship hosts classes in Center Plaza and Preston Gardens, and Waterfront Partnership hosts in West Shore Park.
