Downtown Baltimore takes food seriously. We've had over 60 new restaurants open since 2017, and we've got delicious events and food festivals year round, including Baltimore Restaurant Week, July 27 - August 5, 2018. And if you're into perusing farmers markets and taking the bounty of the Chesapeake into your own kitchen we've got plenty of options, like the Pratt Street Market and Sundays under the JFX.

  • Red Boat Opens on Charles Street

    The Red Boat recently debuted a second Downtown location, this time in the Charles Center neighborhood at 334 N. Charles Street. They are open now and serving their signature spring rolls, tacos, and banh mi sandwiches.

    Argosy Café will move into the space that was, until this week, home to the New America diner. The café will close its current location, in the 18-story Munsey Building at 7 N. Calvert St., on July 15, Shaffer said. They plan to reopen as the New Argosy at the Eutaw Street location on Sept. 1.
